Cardiff extends waste collection contract with Casepak


Cardiff County Council has extended its waste processing contract with Casepak by a further year with an option to extend it by another 12 months.

Under the new contract, Casepak is expected to process 7,000 tonnes of loose material and 5,000 tonnes of baled materials annually.

All materials will be collected by Cardiff County Council’s kerbside collection service and will be sent to Casepak’s materials recycling facility (MRF) in Leicester where they will be sorted into separate waste streams and subsequently supplied to reprocessors.
