Our grab lorries offer a versatile material removal and delivery service suitable for all sizes of projects within the commercial sector and an excellent, low cost option for domestic customers with small sites and areas with limited or restricted access.
At Wiltshire Grab Hire we don’t only run grab lorries, but we also have our own fleet of tipper trucks. Each Tipper truck is fitted with reversing sirens, rear cameras, beacons and easy sheets as standard. We have also installed forward facing video cameras into each of our vehicles, allowing us to monitor driver performance, helping us to achieve the highest standards of safety at all times.
Our heavy haulage low loader is a 60 Tonne, STGO 2 and is regularly used for transporting large plant and equipment around the UK.
We provide certified, screened and ’as dug’ topsoil from our own aggregate production facility. All products are available from stock for jobs of any size ranging from 10 Tonnes to several thousand Tonnes depending on the project. For less than 10 Tonnes call to discuss or we can arrange for you to collect from site.
We can supply and deliver sand, gravel, stone and recycled products.
To reduce our carbon footprint, we typically aim to recycle the majority of waste we collect for re-sale including top soil and 6F5.
At WGH we offer a complete solution for waste management. Services include Grab Hire, Tipper Hire, full Muck away services, sales of primary and recycled aggregates and top soils. We provide services across Swindon, Bristol, Chippenham, Cirencester and throughout Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Gloucestershire and Avon.
We are permitted to use a range of sites, each certified to accept common construction wastes including inert and non-hazardous soils, as well as having our own tipping and recycling facilities. We can provide both waste disposal and waste recycling options for problematic waste types including, but not limited to, asbestos impacted soils, contaminated soils and industrial waste. Disposing of waste and recycling aggregates offer a sustainable alternative to traditional landfilling.
WGH operates a fleet of over 20 vehicles and plant to fulfil the constant demand for our services. The fleet is comprised of eight-wheel rigid tippers, eight-wheel tipper grabs, articulated bulk tippers, low loaders, earth-moving equipment and various other plant. The fleet has been fitted with a state of the art vehicle tracking and reporting system, allowing us to improve productivity and fuel efficiency creating less environmental impact. We’re constantly updating our fleet to maximise efficiency and reduce any further impact to the environment.
