Veolia Secures £338m Camden Waste & Recycling Contract
Veolia, has secured a contract with the London Borough of Camden to manage a range of environmental services in the borough for the next eight years.
French environmental services firm, Veolia, has secured a contract with the London Borough of Camden to manage a range of environmental services in the borough for the next eight years.
The company said that eight year contract has a possible eight year extension and is worth an estimated £338 million.
Starting in April 2017, Veolia said that the focus of the contract will be on maintaining high service standards and delivering solutions to increase efficiency, provide effective management of resources and continually improve services.
Under the new contract the company will continue to deliver Camden’s recycling, waste collection and street cleansing services as well as commercial waste collections and winter maintenance, extending a relationship which goes back to 2003. In addition, Veolia will be responsible for new services including public engagement, customer service and marketing commercial waste services.
